Morrinsville Assembly of God

Order of Service:  Our services usually have an order, but not always, we are open for God to take us in a different direction.

• Prayer:  open in prayer.

​

• Worship:  one of the worship (music) teams lead us in worship, we are a Pentecostal Church who believe and move in the gifts of the holy spirit, so you may here people speaking in tongues, prophesying, giving words of knowledge, going around praying for one another, if you are not used to this type of worship don't be afraid, talk to our Pastor who can explain things.

• Communion: we share communion every Sunday, this is a part of the service where we remember what Jesus has done for us on the cross by partaking of a cracker (representing his body) and juice (representing his blood), our pastor always says if you love the lord you are most welcome to join us in this.

• Tithes and offerings:  after communion we continue to worship the Lord with tithes and offerings, don't feel obligated to give if you are a visitor, the choice is entirely yours.

​

• Church Notices:  this is usually where any church news or notices are shared e.g birthdays prayer requests etc...

​​

• Kids Church around this time the kids programs are usually started.

​​

• Sermon/Preaching:  following the exodus of the children, our Pastor or a guest speaker will share a sermon, Gods word, or just what God has put on their heart to share.

​

• Closing Prayer:  close in prayer.

​​

• Prayer:  nearing the end of the service an opportunity will be given for people to receive prayer for any number of reasons, healing, salvation, family etc.. what ever your prayer need or request our pastor or a number of people can pray for or with you.​​

• Fellowship Cuppa, A cuppa tea/coffee and biscuits are provided after the service, you are invited to stay and have a cuppa and fellowship (mingle) with us.
